“This issue is never ending”- I was scratching my head looking at my laptop with a high hope of fixing an issue.

Where is it? Where is it?”- my mom with a broom in her right hand, wiping cloth in her left entered my room.

“Where is what? What are you searching?”- my incandescent eyes making me furious about what’s going on.

The mosquito! I am chasing it from kitchen and able to corner it into your room” — mom had an attitude of detective.

“It’s fine let it live for the day; I have meeting in another 10 minutes need to prepare some notes”- I am expecting her to leave.

This fellow is troubling me from many days, I am going to kill it today, even at your meeting cost!”- I never seen such determination

To fasten up process I decided to help her, and I regret it.

“How can you say it’s the same mosquito that is troubling you? How can you say its male?” — “You stop asking questions, first find it then will answer!

“If its male it won’t bite!”- before speaking another word mom swinge broom across my head and yea just miss.

“Mom! You are going to kill me”- “If I don’t get mosquito, I am going to do that!”- mom a rebel!

That mosquito is because of you!”- I was in a deep thought, in which universe humans started laying mosquito eggs.

Those fruits which you got a week ago is lying on dining table, from the first day that fellow started singing around!” — I was cursing mosquito. Even at home I need to take responsibility for the things which I haven’t committed as that of office.

“Oh! That’s why you sing with him when you cook? Now I got you how you determined mosquito as fellow”- I was still deciding mosquito gender.

I think you haven’t got enough for today! Once we kill you examine if its male or female! Now just kill!” — mom looked damn serious.

“Mom! On window curtain! Kill it! Common John Cena…”- I was screaming for the end moment.

I was responsible for everything! — “why did you scream? See now, it’s because of you I missed it!

We spent around 10 minutes, upon many unsuccessful attempts I managed to force mom out of room as I need to join a call.

I was bit relaxed and was ready for another blame game — joined my call.

As we were discussing on some important issue and every problem was pointing towards me, I never thought I would be screaming; our whole team echoed — “what happened? sorry! Are you okay?”

My eyes were wet, back started burning, words were struggling to come out of my mouth, mom was standing behind me with broom!

When you are done with call, you can test the mosquito lying under your chair!” — she went out from my room with style and victory!
